Lewis Alderson & Co

Making sure their furniture is as environmentally friendly as possible

Designers and creators of luxury handmade kitchens, Lewis Alderson & Co are making sure their furniture is as environmentally friendly as possible. All the timbers used in construction are from sustainable sources and clients can even select to have FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) woods used in their projects.

They are now also helping to offset the carbon produced in the process of creating their furniture, by planting new trees in the famous Alladale forest, Scotland. All new orders placed with this exciting furniture company will have a corresponding number of samplings planted. They believe the environment is very important, a view shared by their clients, and planting trees is a practical action that can be taken to reduce both parties carbon footprint.

“We are extremely excited to be working with Carbon managers.com” says Neil Matthews, M.D. of Lewis Alderson & Co “we love the fact that all the trees are planted and maintained in the UK contributing towards our dwindling woodland cover. The combination of Lewis Alderson’s service, quality and designs, together with an environmentally friendly project which plants indigenous trees, reducing our clients’ carbon footprint, as well as our own, is simply fantastic.”
